The new MRI suite was a welcome addition to the existing Diagnostic Imaging Department of Mount Sinai Union Square facility. Located on the 3rd floor, the installation of the unit required reinforcement of the structural slab below. The second of two MRI suites of MSDUS, the 1500 sq ft unit consisted of a reception area, prep room, exam room, control room and magnet room.
